I completed my pregraduate studies at Selangor Matriculation College @ KMS. Those 10 months taught me lots of things since that was my first experience to stay away from family. Sharing a hostel room with 2 roommates, queuing in front of the bathroom every morning, rushing to class at 8 in the morning, burning the midnight oils to complete the assignments and homework, sleeping in the lectures, falling sick, going to the clinic by college van, tolerating with the cafeteria food, dealing with peer pressure, having fun with roommates and classmates, joining the college events, counting days for holidays/sem breaks and many more.... That's the basic overview of how a matrics student's life will be.
1. About my college, Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor (KMS).
Each and every student of KMS are very lucky because the sceneries here are incredibly spectacular. Since KMS is located beside beach Morib, students can view sunrises and sunsets very clearly and trust me nothing can beat the beauty and magic of the colourful skies in KMS. #OurSkiesAreOurPride. Talking about the facilities in KMS, as an ex-student I have zero complaints on it as the management provides us lots of facilities like a library, 3 cafeterias, gymnasium, tutorial rooms, badminton courts, squash courts, basketball courts, football field, etc. Click here for a campus tour video!
2. About my roommates
As I mentioned just now, here in KMS a hostel room is shared by 3 students. I heard that in uni we will be sharing room with the roommate of same race means the bumis and non-bumis are separated for some reasons (sorry if its a wrong fact), but unlike unis, in matriculation college a room will be shared by students of same GENDER regardless of their races. I'm an Indian but both my roommates are Malays. It's time introduce them. Say hi to Azizul Azeem bin Kehtar ( aka Azeem / Azimak ) and Muhammad Syahir bin .... AHH forgot his dad's name ( aka. Syahir / Faiz / Kak Ros ) Tengok dulu gambar kitorang....
Sh*t! Look at me. Trust me, I look better in real. Probably the worst pic of mine. Coming to the point, the tall one in the middle is Azeem and the other one is Kak Ros.

So, who's favourite here? With no doubts, definitely both of them but both Kak Ros and Azeem are totally opposite to each other in their behaviours.
Let's ONION about Kak Ros first, he's the type of friend that everybody wants. Cool, steady, main game and chill! Kak Ros will be the first one to come back room almost every single day. Kak Ros is also a die-hard fan of Korean songs. Blackpink, BTS, Bigbang, Ikon, etc. I was introduced to these terms or band's name through Kak Ros. Annnyeonghaseyo (had to Google to for the correct spelling)........ will be the first word from his mouth every single time when I make a phone call to him. At night, he'll play a collection of Korean songs from his phone loudly and eventually I was addicted to two Korean songs (Love Scenario and Killing me). Have I ever fought with Kak Ros? not really a fight but I still remember I pranked him once and he was really pissed off until he blocked me on WhatsApp. The prank lasts for a week. It was midsem break actually. Before leaving hostel, I told him that my classmate has a crush on him and I kept cooking up stories that she likes him a lot and blablabla... Our conversation for the one week of holidays was flooded with my lies hahahahahaha. When revealed the truth Kak Ros said SAKAI THARMA and tadaaaaaaa he blocked me. After the holidays over, I apologized to him and his rely was " Aku saja block kau. Aku OK je". And now you guys know why am I telling he's so cool. Ouh yeah Kak Ros isn't that hardworking when it comes to studies as he plays game 24/7. I like to kacau him and will always tell him to study like the Asian parents do and Kak Ros will be like " APA BODOH? ADA AKU KACAU KO?" (definitely not in rude way) or sometimes a simple nose cut "KO DIAM". Hahaha really miss disturbing him and getting scolded especially when waking him up. This is the video that I took when waking him up for Maghrib prayers.
